Item Description

One of the most classic localities for Adamite in the world is the Ojuela Mine in Mexico. Some of the most spectacular display specimens of the species are found at this mine. This piece is a beautiful example featuring a handful of classic "pinwheel"-shaped groups of yellow colored crystals aesthetically set atop contrasting Limonite matrix. The largest "pinwheel" measures 1.6 cm across. No major damage, save the edges where the piece was contacted as it was removed from the pocket. A three-dimensional and fine quality specimen of this beloved material.
