Item Description

One of the most classic localities for Adamite in the world is the Ojuela Mine in Mexico. This material is some of the most beautiful and classic examples of the species. This particular specimen features a few groups of fine quality, lustrous, yellow-green Adamite crystals on Limonite matrix. The largest single group measures 3.3 across. I love the fact that the individual crystals are not only very sharp and well-formed, but they are fairly large and distinct with their beautiful "wedge"-shaped terminations easily seen on the surface of the groups. This is a showy small cabinet size specimen, that actually stands on its own without the aid of a base or clay. The best of this material will go down as some of the finest quality and color Adamite in history.
