Item Description

One of the most important localities for Adamite specimens in the world is the Ojuela Mine in Mexico. The specimens from this locality are among the most beautiful and classic examples of the species ever found. This particular specimen features a few attractive and desirable "pinwheel"-shaped groups comprising many small, lustrous, yellow-green, "wedge"-shaped crystals of Adamite on Limonite matrix. The largest "pinwheel" measures 1.4 cm across. This material will go down as some of the finest quality and color Adamite in history. From the collection of Shields Flynn.
