Item Description
Adamite pinwheels are considered the most desirable shape for adamite from the famous Mina Ojuela. This exquisite miniature features two sparkly, gemmy and lustrous, pastel-green pinwheels (up to 1.0 cm wide) of elongated adamite crystals very aesthetically attached to a thin crust of gossan matrix. I really like the way a thin gossan septae separates the two pinwheels. Classic and excellent Ojuela material from the 1960s-1970s, ex. the Dave Stoudt Collection.
