Aegirine with Microcline on Smoky Quartz

Some of the world's finest Aegirine crystals are found at Mount Malosa. This particular piece is more of a Smoky Quartz specimen but it does feature a 2.0 cm sharp, lustrous, deep greenish-black, prismatic crystal of Aegirine associated with cream colored Mircocline sitting on sharp, lustrous, gemmy richly colored Smoky Quartz crystals. It's not 100% perfect, as you can see some roughness on the back of the main Smoky, but it's still showy and great quality for the material.
