Item Description

Alamosite, a Pb-silicate, is another of the very rare, highly desirable species for which Tsumeb is famed. This small hematite matrix is peppered with tiny, sparkly, crystals on all sides. The labels say there is kegelite here but to list alamosite first, and in any case the kegelite, although tiny, is another very rare complex Pb-silicate (Type Locality). VERY RARE on the market. Ex Will Frech Tsumeb Collection, handled through Carter Rich about a decade ago.
