Crystallized Feldspar is typically seen in collector's specimens represented by minerals like Microcline and Orthoclase, but some of the finest examples of crystallized Albite ever seen are the world-class pieces from Brazil. These specimens feature some of the largest and finest individual crystals of Albite extant. This small cabinet display specimen is purely composed of large individual blades of gemmy/translucent colorless Albite (var: Cleavelandite), free of matrix. The crystals are notably big and well-formed, with good individual separation in between each blade, showing beautiful morphology. I have to stress that Feldspars are rarely gemmy regardless of the species, so to find a piece with dozens of fine quality crystals that all pass light is significant. No major damage that I can see on the display side. It's truly better than the video might indicate, and if you collect Feldspars, pegmatite minerals or specimens from Brazil, this is a good one.
