Item Description

A showing and fine quality display specimen of Pericline (a prismatic, blocky variety of Albite often found in Alpine cleft deposits) from the Pfunders Valley (Pfunders Tal / Val di Fundres) featuring a coverage of excellent, well-formed, sharp, milky white crystals on matrix. The largest crystal is doubly-terminated and measures 3.1 cm. The piece sits beautifully on its own without the aid of a base or clay. A wonderful eye-catching piece of this distinctive Alpine material. No major damage I can see, and a very desirable piece for any fan of Alpine specimens or worldwide Feldspars.
From the collection of Gerry Morvell.
