Item Description

Alstonite is an ULTRA RARE barium carbonate and this showy and excellent combination specimen from the Type Locality features a sharp, 1.2 cm, pseudo-dihexagonal dipyramid jauntily set amidst sugary, snow-white barite crystals on a bit of sulfide matrix from the famous and historic Brownley Hill Mine of England. This is an EXCELLENT combination specimen of this rare species and classic locale. Ex Mullane Collection.
