Item Description

Simply put, the finest Amazonite crystals in the world are found in around the Pike's Peak Batholith. The area has continued to produce fine quality crystals for the better part of a century. Here we have a sharp, well-formed good blue green color Amazonite crystal group. This specimen was collected by the late George Fisher, a very prominant field collector of Amazonite specimens in Colorado for years. Despite a little roughness on one of the smaller crystals, it's still good quality for a species (Microcline) that is typically found in white to grey colored crystals!
