The Pikes Peak region in Colorado is world famous for producing some of the most impressive crystals of Amazonite in the world. The pieces from the famous Two Point Claim are some of the most attractive examples of this material. This piece is a lovely toenail sized specimen featuring several sharp, prismatic crystals of Amazonite measuring up to 1.1 cm long. The crystals transition from a gorgeous glowing blue-green hue to stark white Microcline at the base. The brightness and saturation of the color in the Amazonite is really lovely, especially for smaller sized crystals. Most crystals are undamaged, and the piece is completely UN-repaired, which is not common for this material.
