Item Description
A classic and very showy older specimen of blocky amazonite crystals without matrix from Pikes Peak. The sides of the crystals are a pastel blue-green, with moderate luster, while the terminations are highly lustrous and a beautiful, striking, turquoise-blue. Both large crystals are doubly terminated and the longest crystal, at 5.7 cm, is a textbook Carlsbad twin. No damage and no repairs. Excellent material. Ex Merrill Payne Collection.
