Item Description
A classic find in Colorado mineral history was the Keyhole Vug in the mid 1980s, with this gorgeous turquoise color to the amazonites. Many sat on white albite, although this is a floater and complete as a single textbook crystal. Wonderful color and geometry make this a fine miniature from any pocket, but especially from this one which is known for its strong even coloration. Al Kidwell bought this from one of the miners in 1986.
