A beautiful and excellent 360-degree amethyst from the Goboseb. The upper 4.5 cm of this glassy, well-striated, sharply terminated crystal is water-clear gem. Pretty blush-purple swirls are dramatically accented by the smoky cloud. The 1.5 cm side car quartz, where the crystal turns translucent adds pizzazz. Essentially pristine. A very trivial termination edge wilber is out-of-sight in the primary display views. Classic, showy and colorful Brandberg amethyst with smoky quartz from the Shields Flynn dealer stock. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. The glassiness and gemminess made photography difficult.
