Item Description

A classic example of the famous Jackson Crossroads Amethysts featuring a group of sharp, well-formed, lustrous, "stubby", doubly-terminated crystals, but the best part is that they're sitting beautifully on matrix! It's not common to find matrix specimens from this locality, especially with such eye-catching aesthetic form. Internally the crystals show gorgeous lilac and smoky tones, and glow with color when backlit. The crystals are rather gemmy inside, and the piece is essentially damage free, as I can't find any real damage with the naked eye. Classic material from one of the premier Amethyst localities in the world. Great form, size and quality. Valued at $950.
