This superlative sculptural Las Vigas amethyst plate is covered with gemmy and lustrous crystals with beautiful blush-purple terminations. It looks like a mitten or baseball glove. The flat-lying crystal in the dramatic cluster is 4.0 cm long and the photo of the back of cluster shows reveals that the large crystal is actually a 4.8 cm doubly terminated scepter! The striking isolated crystal on the left side is 4.1 cm long. The rich coverage of both amethyst and quartz crystals on the matrix plates adds even more pizzazz to this outstanding and pristine small cabinet example from this classic locale.
