The famous Four Peaks Amethyst gems are renowned for their beautiful color, which often resembles the old classic Siberian Amethyst that date back over 100 years ago. These stones have a wonderfully saturated purple hue, and can sometimes shows the highly desirable and seldom seen red flash! Most Amethyst you'll see on the market is typically from Brazil, and while that material is perfectly good quality, it doesn't have the same allure that the Four Peaks material carries. Gem collectors will tell you that good stones with red flash are arguably the most valuable Amethyst gems out there. Here we have a matched pair of "Trillion Brilliant" cut gems with nearly eye clean clarity and a deep purple hue.
