Item Description

An elegant and aesthetic large two-sided plate of intergrown sprays of very glassy, translucent, rich grape-purple amethyst crystals from recent finds at this obscure Indian locality. The crystals have a beautiful gemmy quality to them, when backlit. VERY INTERESTINGLY, the crystals on the front have normal growth, while they are SCEPTERED on the back. In great shape, the front is pristine. The lower portions of the fans on the back are contacted, but have no damage, per se. Very fine large material from this find and locale. It is hard to get this material today, as most of it came out about 6-7 years ago. Valued $1500
