Item Description
A rare sceptered amethyst from Switzerland! For that matter, any amethyst from Switzerland is rare....but a scepter, perched on a quartz - almost unheard of! This fine small cabinet piece is from the prized Swiss collection of Brent Lockhart, built over decades with help sourcing from major dealers in the USA and Europe. We purchased it in 2020, and now release some for sale here. This is a shocking specimen for what it is. Note it has not been cleaned in lab and is essentially mine-run, as found. It is nearly pristine with just a few tiny dings. Sourced from Siber & Siber to Brent in 2017. The provenance from Siber to Brent is attested to on his label, included. A custom lucite base ($200 or so value) is also included.
