Amethyst with Hematite inclusions (Joe Lobell Collection)

Rich, very bright, rust-red hematite has included extremely glassy, sharp, rich purple amethyst crystals on this striking and beautiful 360-degree mounded plate from famous Thunder Bay. The crystals reach about 1.7 cm. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A few very gently bruised tips and modest periphery wear are noted, but certainly have very minimal impact of the displayability of this excellent piece. The vibrant color and super luster of the crystals place the quality of this specimen in the top percentiles of this noted locality. From the Joe Lobell Collection.
