Item Description

Classic porcelaneous luster with pretty pastel-pink oxide tinting on these textbook sharp analcime crystals. The crystals, to 2.5 cm, are very aesthetically set on the small cabinet matrix plate on this excellent two-sided example from an old and famous locale. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 852 and acquired from Scott Williams at the San Bernardo Show in 1958. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). Classic, probably old-time material - acquired by her early on, 1960s.
