Item Description

A lovely Swiss Anatase specimen that is labeled as coming from "St. Brigitta", but I can't find a listing for this locality, so I'm leaving it as Tujetsch (Tavetsch). The piece features a very sharp, well-formed, lustrous, doubly-terminated, 3 mm Anatase crystal sitting on Quartz and Adularia crystals on host rock matrix. Very attractive up close, and a nice thumbnail specimen for any Alpine mineral collector. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#9153). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
