Anatase on Quartz

Item Description

A large matrix plate hosting representative examples of the world-class Anatase crystals from the famed Hardangervidda Region of Norway. The doubly-terminated, dipyramid crystals of Anatase are instantly recognizable, and they range up to almost 1 cm in size. Sharp, silvery-grey, with excellent, metallic luster, the Anatase crystals are intergrown with a layer of doubly-terminated, 2 cm Quartz crystals and a bed of prismatic, white, 3 mm Adularia crystals.
