Item Description
A nice reference piece of Anatase from the Griesserental (Griesseren Valley) in Switzerland. This full-sized miniature specimens hosts several sharp, lustrous, striated, deep silvery-blue colored doubly-terminated crystals of Anatase measuring up to 5 mm long on slightly smoky colored Quartz matrix. The Quartz might appear to be completely massive, but there is a small area where one can see well-formed terminated crystals. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#991). Kay was a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics. She nearly lived 100 years from April 1920 - March 2020.
