Item Description

The alpine-type Anatase specimens from this locality are seldom seen, but have been known for decades. The locality actually dates back to the 1800s and operated until 1972. The crystals are typically small, but they are beautiful and fine quality. This thumbnail sized specimen features a lovely group of incredibly sharp, highly lustrous, gorgeous blue and golden bi-colored crystals of Anatase nestled into Quartz on host rock matrix. The group measures about 2 mm across and looks fantastic with magnification. If you collect micros, Welsh minerals, or worldwide Anatase, don't miss out on this attractive an very hard to find specimen.
