Andradite garnets are a signature species along with magnetite from this well-known deposit. Two intergrown textbook trapezohedrons with dark reddish-brown color and moderate luster comprise this aesthetic miniature. The bit of noted bruising is certainly only a modest detraction to this showy and highly representative example from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
