Demantoid Garnets certainly are in the upper tier of the most sought after and valuable Garnets out there. The beautiful green color of the crystals, combined with their high dispersion and refractive index of the makes them incredibly eye-catching. This piece features a beautiful, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, rich green colored dodecahedron of Demantoid measuring 1.0 cm across, with a secondary "sidecar" crystal, sitting atop off-white colored Calcite matrix. No major damage on the front/display side, and these pieces are a must have for any fan of gem crystals, Garnets or minerals of Namibia.
