These are some of the most classic Garnets in the world. Demantoid gets is name from Diamonds due to the amazingly high refractive index of the material. In addition, the color of these stones is matched by only a few other green gems on the market. This particular sparkler is a bright yellow-green color gem with very very slight inclusions and "Round Brilliant" cut. The color of this gem is typical for this well known Alpine locality. These stones are highly sought after on the market today and undoubtedly some of the most well known Demantoids in the world.
