Anglesite (RARE locality specimen) (ex Shields Flynn Collection)

Item Description

A very hard to find showy, robust thumbnail sized specimen of the elusive Anglesites from San Felipe Canyon in Sonora, Mexico. Many sharp, well-formed, semi-lustrous, orthorhombic crystals of a light peach-tan color measuring up to 8 mm are sprinkled over the oxidized matrix. No major damage that I can find, and this is almost certainly the BEST thumbnail example of this material that we've ever had to offer. From a find in the 1970s, and virtually unseen in today's market. From the collection of Shields Flynn.
