Anglesite (with rare hematite phantom)

We are all familiar with the famous anglesites of this famous lead mine in Morocco, found in the 1960s through the early 1980s in several styles and pockets. However, this is something you almost never see, a super rare version of anglesite with multiple layers, and a phantom within! It is a stunning miniature gem crystal with a sharply defined first growth colored red-umber by hematite iron inclusions, overgrown with a totally transparent gemmy layer (several mm thick) of the more classic lemon-yellow, glassy, transparent anglesite. This is sharply defined, although hard to capture in a photo as the camera has trouble focusing through the gemmy layer. The front shows the phantom within but is hard to photo... the back view shows the crystal within, the phantom, sticking out from the overlaying coating so you can see it clearly. A fascinating, sparkly jewel that is nearly unique - we have not seen one for sale in ages. Valued $5000-plus.
