Naica is known to have produced some outstanding anhydrite specimens and this is an very fine and uncommon, older combination example. The nifty front features two, intergrown, translucent anhydrite blades with pretty light, ice-blue color mostly wrapped by aggregates of sparkly, gemmy calcite rhombs. The back is another story! The blades are totally covered with sparkly, colorless calcite microcrystal clusters with very interesting shapes.
