Item Description

Annabergite, uncommon hydrated Ni-arsenate, is the nickel analogue of erythrite, a hydrated Co-arsenate. The historic mines of the Lavrion District have produced outstanding examples and the ancient Km-3 Mine is known for the world's best annabergite specimens (MINDAT). The 3.5 cm, sculptural see-through vug is lined with classic, gemmy, emerald-green annabergite blades. A rich and very showy example from this famous mine.
