Item Description

Antlerite is EXTREMELY RARE (no photos) from any of the 9 Nevada locatities MINDAT lists for the species and brochantite is also VERY RARE from this very obscure Nevada mine. This extremely rich and rare two-sided copper ore specimen features sprays of very dark green to gemmy emerald-green antlerite lathes, aggregates of emerald-green brochantite microcrystals and light green botyroidal chrysocolla (mostly on the back). RARE combination material from the Kay Robertson Collection # 11067. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). A MUST for the Nevada or species collector.
