Apatite (neon)

First off, I would like to stress that this is one of the most phenomenal colors in the gem world. The intense electric neon blue color is very difficult to reproduce in photos/video. Now these stones are heated to help improve the color and clarity, but they are still natural, and completely accepted in the gem trade. This is a good size stone from a lesser known locality in Bahia, Brazil. In my opinion, these are the BEST blue color Apatite gems that I have seen from anywhere in the world. This VVS clarity, "Oval" cut gem has one of the most attractive and electric colors for any gem you will see.
