Apatite (Neon Blue Color)

These seldom seen Apatites from Bahia feature one of the most phenomenal colors in the gem world. We've done our best to capture the electric hue, but the stone is very difficult to accurately photograph, and it truly looks better in person. It has a very strong electric blue color to say the least. It's also a good size stone from this lesser known locality in Brazil. In my opinion, these are the BEST blue color Apatite gems that I have seen from anywhere. Please note that this stone has been heated to bring out more of the color, but all of these gems are heated, so it is a very well known practice that is accepted among all dealers and collectors in the hobby. This VVS clarity, "Oval" cut gem would make a great addition to any collection, especially if you're a fan of Apatite, and it would also look beautiful in a ring or pendant, as it's nearly calibrated at 7x5 mm.
