Fine quality neon blue Apatite really only comes from two places in the world. The Bahia area of Brazil produces a very intense deep blue color of Apatite, but stones are often very small. The Madagascar material is most popular in the gem world, as its intense blue color truly looks like no other gem. I think you could compare the color to a saturated Paraiba blue Tourmaline, but these Apatites are unique as they really don't have a color like anything else. This is a beautiful glowing neon blue Apatite from Madagascar. It is very difficult to capture the color in a photograph as it has a very distinctive color. This stone has slight inclusions with a "round brilliant" cut. This shade of blue is one of the most attractive and electric colors for Apatite in the world.
