Apatite (superb color)

Apatite from Madagascar is becoming more and more difficult to find as the best deposit for the material dried up years ago, and the material is only being found in small sporadic areas. I don't see many stones approaching 1-2 carats from Madagascar these days, and this is one of the better gems I've seen for color and clarity recently. The stone has a fantastic, saturated glowing blue color with nearly eye clean clarity and a "cushion brilliant" cut. I would almost say this is a "neon" blue color as it almost resembles Paraiba Tourmaline or Windex. A great stone for a collector or an excellent candidate for a superb piece of jewelry.
