Item Description

A striking and sculptural large vesicle is filled with glassy, tetragonal apophyllite crystals on top of complimentary salmon-pink, heulandite crystals on basalt matrix. The large, elongated apophyllite is 1.6 cm. This excellent and very showy older CABINET specimen is from an uncommon Rio Grande do Sul location. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 1858. Uncommon combination material in this quality from this locale. old material
