Apophyllite gem crystals on Stilbite

This superb specimen is one of those pieces that just grabs the eye - it floats to attention amidst a whole table of relative mediocrity, that this mine puts out on a monthly basis. The jewel-like crystals in the center of the piece are super sharp, gemmy, and have a wonderful mint green color. This is NOT just an average apophyllite you can buy anywhere, in those factors. Moreover, the crystals are arranged in a flowerlike spray, within a flowerlike embrace of peach-pink stilbite crystals, all sparkling and beautiful - and pristine. We see a lot of apophyllite-stilbite combinations, rooms full at some shows, I admit - but few enough are of the quality to fit into top colletions with other, more rarified specimens.
