Item Description
Both species are VERY RARE from this well-known locality, the Type Locality for cavansite. This fine and showy rarity features scattered, glassy, pyramidal apophyllite crystals on the knobby,botryiodal surface of sparkly drusy calcite over banded, bone-white chalcedony. Some apophyllite crystal faces have very nifty skeletal features. Choice and rare combination material from this local. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. A must for the species or locality collector.
