Apophyllite with Chalcedony

A classic, display specimen featuring sharp, gemmy, green to white/colorless Apophyllite crystals with pinkish Chalcedony on matrix. The piece is in decent shape overall with only a few nicks, but the displayability is great as the crystals have formed a beautiful radial shaped "spray". The largest crystal measure 3.2 cm. A wonderful big display specimen that would fit nicely into any collection. Valued at $1250 in the inventory. Indian Zeolites and associated minerals (Apophyllite is not a zeolite) may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant!
