Apophyllite with Prehnite

I know that Indian specimens are everywhere, but you must appreciate them for what they are. They are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant. This piece is actually from a find from at least 30+ years ago. It features a slightly concave "crust"-like matrix hosts sharp, rather lustrous, translucent, white to colorless crystals of Apophyllite with minor white Prehnite underneath. The largest Apophyllite crystal measures 2.6 cm, and a few of them are actually doubly-terminated. No real damage that I can see. One day (eventually) India will not produce any more of these Zeolites, and they will more than likely receive great recognition for being the amazing display specimens that they are.
