Item Description

Pakistan has simply set the standard for gem Aquamarine crystals versus all other world localities. There is simply no other country that produces such well-formed, textbook, high quality Aquamarine crystals with the consistency of the Pakistani pegmatites. While larger gem crystals might have been found in Brazil over the years, they are often heavily etched, and rarely show smooth crystal faces like those from Pakistan. This piece is no exception as it consists of one predominant and two secondary very sharp, highly lustrous, extremely well-formed, prismatic, gem/gemmy aqua blue color crystals. The main crystal has a nearly pristine termination with only the tiniest little Wilber. It also has an interesting pseudo-phantom included throughout the prism. Internally, there a very silky appearance following the same growth pattern of the crystal in which it is included. A beautiful example of this classic material. Priced at $1,500. Specimen weight is 16.40 grams.
