Item Description

Beryl is a favorite among collectors and dealers because of the broad spectrum of colors and the ability to obtain large clean gems. Aquamarine is one of the most popular varieties of Beryl on the market today. This gem is from Brazil and is a beautiful aqua blue color that is very slightly included with a beautiful "Modified Star of David Hexagon" cut. It honestly looks MUCH better in person, but was difficult to photograph.. The unique cut on this stone makes is very attractive, and would dazzling in a pendant! This stone was cut by Allyce Ruhl in November of 2010. Gem quality Aquamarines are becoming more and more difficult to find, and the price seems to be rising throughout the gem trade. It's not easy to find custom cut Aquas like this on the market either. The high-end retail value on this gem is $165.10
