Item Description

This Aquamarine specimen was mined by Richard Kosnar in the late 1970's and his diggings produced some of the finest color, unheated Aquamarine in the world. Most of these crystals are not gem quality, but this crystal is pretty gemmy when backlit, which is very good for the material. This crystal is a fairly sharp, gemmy, semi-lustrous, etched, rich blue color crystal of Aquamarine from this somewhat obscure locality in the northwestern United States. One simply does not see these beauties offered very often on the market anymore. It is definitely one of the best blue color crystals of this material that I've ever offered for auction. Don't miss out on this great North American gem crystal classic.
