Item Description

About 13 gemmy tabular beryl crystals are very attractively clustered on the sculptural large matrix of pearlescent muscovite plates from famed Mt Xuebaoding, old material with a glassy luster. Most of the crystals are water-clear, with a few being translucent. Color ranges from a very pale blue aquamarine to nearly colorless (goshenite). The impressive, isolated, compound gem crystal is 3.5 cm across. All of the beryls are pristine. Ex Greg Peterson Collection of British Columbia, Canada. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. An impressive and rich large beryl combination from the noted locale and at a price you could not buy it for in China today - trust us on that. They value Pingwu highly, in China, and modern material does not sell lightly. Valued by former owner at $2000.
