Item Description
A dramatic and unusual combination specimen from the Erongos. A large, 8.8 cm, jauntily angled aquamarine crystal has been partially resorbed/altered and has a strange outer skin of beryl. The termination remains a gemmy, blue aqua, though! A nifty cluster of moderate luster schorl crystals is attached to the termination. Nubby hyaline opal preferentially coats faces on the aqua and on the matrix. The opal fluoresces a fabulous lime-green. An excellent and uncommon Erongo aqua from the Charlie Key dealer stock. Valued at $700-900 for the size of the unusual aqua and the combination.
