Item Description

A rich, gemmy, cluster of vibrant blue aquamarines from 1990s finds in the Erongo Mountains. This locality surprised everybody in the mid-90s with its beryl production, and is likely to be looked back on as a true modern classic down the road. This piece has a great 3-dimensionality, high luster, and many good crystals on it. Unusually, the terminations are super-glassy - many aqua pockets from this region don't have such good temrinations. From the collection of Dr. Edward David, president Nixon's science advisor among other roles he has done. Valued $2000-2500 (he paid 2250 years ago, when they first came out).
