Aquamarine with Schorl on Microcline

An eye-catching and aesthetic display specimen of the famous Erongo Aquamarine / Schorl associations. The combination of the gorgeous blue Aquas with the contrasting jet-black Schorl Tourmaline is just beautiful. This full sized miniature display specimen features a few sharp, very lustrous, gemmy, hexagonal Aquamarine crystals measuring up to 3.3 cm long associated with attractive black Schorl prisms which are set atop attractive complementing cream colored Microcline. The piece is in good condition, but one of the terminations of the Aquamarine crystals is broken. The piece still displays beautifully as you can see from the photos. We had this one priced at $600 in the inventory. An attractive specimen from this well-known specimen producing locality.
