Aquamarine (with second order prism faces)

An attractive, very light blue color, sharp, lustrous, GEM quality crystal of Aquamarine with lovely second order prism faces - instead of just six hexagonal faces along the prism. The piece was mined over 40 years ago, and comes from the collection of Brian Kosnar, who obtained it from his father, Richard Kosnar who actually bought the crystal in Brazil in the mid 1970s. The crystal would make a great addition to any gem crystal suite, especially since gem Aquas from Brazil are truly difficult to find on the market these days.
